What’s in Your Body Oil?

Most body oils look the same. Golden liquid. Clean bottle. A few beautiful ingredients called out on the front. But the real story is on the back. The first ingredient tells you what most of the bottle is made of. And everything else follows from there.

Many body oils start with sunflower oil.

There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s light, it spreads easily, it softens the skin. It does its job. But it’s also a basic base, which means the more expensive oils—the ones you’re drawn to—are often used in smaller amounts.

You’ll also often see “fragrance” or “parfum.” Again, not inherently bad. But it’s a blend, grouped under one word. You don’t really see what’s inside it. It’s there to shape the scent, not necessarily to support the skin.

I wanted to take a different approach.

Meadowfoam. Jojoba. Argan. Sweet Almond — a few, rich oils working together, each in meaningful amounts.

  • Meadowfoam helps the skin hold onto hydration, so what you feel lasts.

  • Jojoba absorbs easily and works with your skin, not just on top of it.

  • Argan brings softness and a quiet, natural glow.

  • Sweet Almond gives the formula slip, making it feel smooth and effortless to apply.

Your skin feels soft when you apply it, and soft hours later.

No added fragrance. No unnecessary complexity.
